Service Description
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation, often translated as ‘yogic sleep’ or ‘effortless relaxation’. Typically, it is practiced lying down and I will guide you throughout the session. This guidance may include connecting to the senses, scanning the body, visualisation and breath awareness or a combination of these. The practice encourages drawing your attention inwards, inviting you to float between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where your body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis). In this place, the breath can balance and becomes quiet, unconscious and give space for conscious aspects of the mind to potentially reveal themselves, and you will hopefully fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness. It is believed that around 30-40minutes of yoga Nidra can be equivalent to 2-4 hours of deep sleep and all its benefits for the mind and body. From this state of restful being there may be opportunity for healing, restoration and release. Who is it for? Everyone! All you need to do it lay down (or find another comfortable place to be for you) and let the magic happen! When is it on? Cancellation Policy
Class bookings can be cancelled up to 24hours prior to the class One to one and corporate bookings can be cancelled up to 48hours prior to the session Workshop bookings are to be paid in full on booking, cancellations made within one week of the workshop will not be refunded unless the space can be refilled prior to the event. Retreat bookings are to be paid in full on booking, cancellations made within two weeks of the event will not be refunded unless the space can be refilled in time.
